SCIENCE WORKSHOP FOR KIDS BY CURIOUSCITY @ HIPPOCAMPUS – BANGALORE

‘Science for kids’ is designed to nurture and satisfy the scientific curiouscity in children. Curiouscity has been running science workshops for over 6 years now.

Their modules include subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, math and the environment. All their experiments are challenging, making kids more interactive and have fun at the same time.

Junior Level

Age: 6-8 years|| Time: 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Start Date: 21st July’12 ( Alternate Saturdays) – 15 sessions

Member Fee: Rs 4200|| Non – Member Fee: Rs 5000

Senior Level

Age: 9-12 yrs|| Time: 10:30 pm – 12:30 pm

Start Date: 22nd July’12 ( Alternate Sundays) – 15 sessions

Mmeber Fee: Rs 4500 || Non-Member Fee: Rs 5500

through hands-on experiments,  videos, demonstrations and exhibits.
 

Age: 8 to 12 years ( STD’s 4, 5, 6 and 7)

Date: 21st and 22nd January 2012

Time: 10 am to 5 pm

Fee: Members: 300, Non Members – Rs 400 and Adult – Rs 200 

Venue: Hippocampus Children’s Experience Centre, Bangalore

Curiouscity has been created with the aim of promoting science in our communities. We believe that science is not merely a subject in school curriculum, but it is a way of looking at the world. There is a wonderful world out there that is waiting to be explored, to be discovered and our attempt is to bring some of that joy to the community we live in and to the children growing up around us. Therefore we want to take the children beyond the world of books, the four walls of the class room, and let them experience science first hand by working on simple experiments, and simple concepts.
