1) 5 important things which concern children,  that parents need to focus on in their financial life
 2)  How to teach your children about money

 

The session would cover the 5 important things that need to be done to financially secure your child’s future,products that can be used for each of these action items and finally how to integrate this into a financial plan. Apart from this, we will also cover some other things like education loan, nominations, wills etc – these topics will be covered very briefly. I will have a slide on some ways to start teaching your children about money.

 Dragons play a special role in Chinese mythology and tradition and during the New Year celebrations, lively dragon parades can be seen dancing down the streets to the beat of drums and music.

Get your kids into the spirit of Chinese New Year by making their very own Dragon masks and listen to some interesting stories with Aunty Nivedita.

  Want to go Kite flying ??  Come celebrate Sankranti with us, as we make colourful kites and fly them too.  Light up the sky with colourful kites to mark the end of a long winter and usher in the new season.

 Celebrate the festive season with some folk dance and music. A young team of dancers from Loyola college will be performing the “Devarattam” and the “Thapattam”. Fast and fluent movements to the rhythmic sound of ‘ Deva Thunthubi’ – a drum-shaped percussion instrument, make this dance truly enjoyable.

Come dressed in your traditional best and enjoy the celebrations !!

Come along and listen to a bagful of stories with Asha Sampat.Like all Hindu festivals pongal too has some interesting legends attached to it. Pongal is celebrated every year in mid -January mostly in the south of India and especially in Tamil Nadu to mark the harvest of crops and a special thanksgiving to God, the sun,the earth and the cattle.
